Gaj Neubauer je star 27 let in prihaja iz Ljubljane. Trenutno zaključuje študij na BIC Ljubljana, Višji strokovni šoli, program Gostinstvo in turizem, poleg tega je diplomiral tudi že na Fakulteti za podjetništvo Gea College. Po srednješolski izobrazbi je sicer Gimnazijski maturant, a ker je bila želja po znanju o kulinariki, gastronomiji, strežbi, skratka po gostinstvu pri njem tako močna, se je po zaključeni diplomi na področju podjetništva vpisal še v višješolski program Gostinstvo in turizem. V času svojega študija na BIC Ljubljana, Višji strokovni šoli je opravil veliko praktičnih vaj in sodeloval na številnih gostinskih dogodkih, prav tako pa je opravil 800 ur praktičnega izobraževanja v podjetjih.Praktično izobraževanje je opravil v restavraciji Strelec na Ljubljanskem gradu (Kaval Group) ter v restavraciji JB, Janez Bratovž s. p., Ljubljana, kjer je pridobil veliko praktičnega znanja in razvil določene spretnosti, pridobil nove izkušnje v svoji stroki, poleg tega so te izkušnje zelo dobro vplivale na njegovo osebno rast in njegovo ustvarjalnost. Pridobil je znanja o novih tehnikah in veščinah na področju visoke kulinarike, znanja o timskem delu ter spoznal način dela v restavracijah na višjem nivoju. Ima zelo izraženo željo po znanju in se hitro uči ter nenehno išče izboljšave, nove izzive, znajde se v kriznih situacijah v kuhinji in je zanesljiv. Poleg praktičnih izkušenj na področju visoke kulinarike, si je kasneje pridobil še praktično znanje v institucionalni kuhinji in tako lahko primerjal področji.
Gaj Neubauer is a 27-year-old-student from Ljubljana. He is currently completing his studies at BIC Ljubljana, Vocational College, in a programme of Hospitality and Tourism. He has finished a Grammar school programme and has graduated from the Faculty of Entrepreneurship – GEA College in Ljubljana. Due to his strong desire for knowledge of cooking, gastronomy, serving (in short – knowledge in the field of hospitality), he enrolled in higher/post-secondary vocational education and he became a student of Hospitality and Tourism. During his studies at BIC Ljubljana, Vocational College he did lots of practical exercises and was actively involved in numerous catering events. He also performed 800 hours of obligatory practical training in Strelec restaurant at Ljubljana Castle (Kaval Group) and in JB restaurant, Janez Bratovž in Ljubljana, where he gained a lot of practical knowledge and developed certain skills and new experience in his field of work, which has visibly contributed to his personal growth and has stimulated his creativity. He has gained knowledge of new techniques and skills in the field of high gastronomy, knowledge about teamwork and he has learnt about working methods in high-end restaurants. Gaj’s thirst for knowledge makes him a fast learner, constantly seeking for improvements and new challenges. He managed to stay calm and rational even when responding to crisis in the kitchen. Most importantly, he is very reliable. In addition to his practical experience in the field of high-end cuisine, he has also acquired practical knowledge in institutional food service, so he can compare work in both areas.
