Vibusha Madanayake is a graduate of the University of Colombo with a Bacelor of Arts specilizing in International Relations and also a post graduate scholar reading for her Masters in International Relations at the same university. She has worked in number of NGOs and volunteer organizations since 2010. She has involved in projects such as human rights, peace buidling, transtional justice, youth rights, disable rights and youth participation in plotics in academically as well as professionally. She has represented Sri Lanka in various international youth and research conferences.
Title of the paper:
She has worked for National Peace Council, Sri Lanka as an Intern on a short-term basis to organize and coordinate the National Level Meeting on Transitional Justice and Women, a project implemented by the National Peace Council with the support of FOKUS Women.
She has worked for International Centre for Ethnic Studies, Sri Lanka as a Programme Coordinator on a short-term basis to organize the roundtable discussion in the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons Living with Disabilities (UNCRPD) and the Draft Disability Law.
She was trained as an intern at the United Nations, Multicultural Affairs, Human Rights and Conferences Division of the Ministry under the internship program proposed by the Department of International Relations, University of Colombo.
She was trained in Media Operations at the President Media (Electronic) of the Presidents Secretariat, Sri Lanka.
She gained experiences as a Research Assistant in relation to two research projects conducted by the Research Fellow of the Research Department at the National Institute of Education (NIE) and Senior Lecturer at the External Program of the University of London conducted by the Graduate Department of the Royal Institute Sri Lanka
