Jean-Pierre Mesic was born in 1974 in France. He graduated in Grenoble, France at The Grenoble School of Management. He started his international carrier at Schneider Electric in Croatia and then moved to Renault Polska in marketing department in Warsaw (Poland).
In 1999, he was appointed as Zone Director for Tunis and Eastern Africa for Renault Trucks international and had the opportunity to develop Renault Trucks presence in this zone.
From 2001, he managed and got several positions in fleet organization, marketing and network animation in France. in 2011 he was appointed as Fleet director and managed 50% of Renault sales in France. He was awarded by Carlos Ghosn (Renault & Nissan CEO) in 2012 for the performance achieved in the most important Electric tender (the biggest at worldwide level, 15.600 electric vehicles).
In 2014, he was appointed as Vice president Corporate sales & Used Car Division at the global level. He had the opportunity to manage the development of the B2B business in most important market in the world and implemented know-how, standards and tools in order to increase Renault performance in B2B business (Brazil, Europe, Russia, Turkey, Middle East, India, China…) taking in account local culture & context.
In 2016, he was appointed as Managing Director of Renault Nissan Adriatic, which is covering South Eastern European countries (Slovenia, Croatia. Serbia, Bosna-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania). 2016 was also a record year for Renault Nissan Adriatic with roughly 20% of market share and 35.000 registered cars for the 3 brands (Renault, Dacia, Nissan).
