Prof. dr. Borut Juvanec – Prof. Emeritus – Fakulteta za arhitekturo v Lj. Je vodilni poznavalec in strokovnjak teorije arhitekture, dolgoletni profesor, avtor številnih knjig o ljudski, prvobitni arhitekturi, ustanovitelj Inštituta vernakularne (ljudske) arhitekture, raziskovalne organizacije, kjer skušajo urejeno obravnavati stare rešitve, s starimi materiali, v odnosu z novimi. V enainštiridesetih letih delovanja na Univerzi je lahko koristil mednarodne izmenjave, kjer je imel na tujih Univerzah priožnost predstaviti marsikaj o naši slovenski arhitekturi, pa tudi o teoretičnih osnovah.

Prof. Dr. Borut Juvanec – Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana – is a leading expert in architectural theory, a long-standing professor, and the author of numerous books on vernacular (folk) and primitive architecture.
He is the founder of the Institute of Vernacular Architecture, a research organization dedicated to systematically studying traditional solutions using old materials and integrating them with contemporary approaches.
During his 41 years of academic work at the University, he actively participated in international exchange programs, where he had the opportunity to present Slovenian architecture and theoretical foundations at universities around the world.
