Generalni konservator na zavodu za varstvo kulturne dediščine
General Conservator at the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage
Dr. Robert Peskar – umetnostni zgodovinar, konservator in pedagog, ki je bil zaposlen na Zavodu za varstvo kulturne dediščine Slovenije. Med leti 2005 in 2009 je bil tudi direktor Zavoda. Deset let je delal kot generalni konservator. Bil je tudi predsednik Slovenskega konzervatorskega društva. Njegovo raziskovalno delo se osredotoča predvsem na gotsko stensko slikarstvo in gotsko arhitekturo v Sloveniji ter na vprašanja, povezana z ohranjanjem kulturne dediščine. O vsem tem pa je napisal tudi knjigo.
Je tudi član Lions kluba Ljubljana, lansko leto je bil predsednik tega kluba.
Dr. Robert Peskar – an art historian, conservator, and educator who worked at the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia. Between 2005 and 2009, he served as Director of the Institute. He was working as a general conservator for the period of 10 years, and he was also the president of the Slovenian Conservators’ Association. His research is mostly focused on Gothic wall painting and Gothic architecture in Slovenia, as well as issues related to the preservation of cultural heritage. He has also written a book exploring all those topics. He is a member of the Lions Club Ljubljana and last year, he served as its president.
