Recipients of awards

Mag. Aleksandra Podgornik graduated at the Economics and Business Faculty in Maribor in year 1995. In year 2007 she earned her Master’s degree in Economics and Business Studies, at the same Faculty in Maribor. When the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Štajerska began operating in year 2007, she became its first director. Since year 2011 she is the president of the Supervisory Board of the largest health insurance company Mutual dvz. She works on many development projects in Podravje, e.g. as a member of the Board of Maribor Development Agency, a member of the Board of partners at the Employment Service of Slovenia in the regional offices in Maribor and Ptuj, a member of the Provincial Economic-Social Board for Lower Podravje, a vice-president of the PRIZMA Foundation for Improvement of Employment Possibilities in Podravje region, a member of the Board Consortium for development tasks of Podravje region, a member of the Programme Council of Regional Labour Fund Podravje, a member of the Statistic Advisory Council for regional statistics, a vice-president of the Council of the development region Podravje, a member of the Council at the Institut EnergaP – Energy Agency of Podravje and a member of managing Board of the Local Action Group TOTI LAS.
