Recipients of awards

Mr. Burnac graduated from law, management, and public administration and finished his master’s degree in economic and business science. Currently he is preparing a PhD at the University of Maribor. He is involved with issues that concern the municipal company’s, and performs activities regarding water treatment, waste water treatment, garbage treatment, legislation, and social responsibility. He was the deputy mayor, responsible for municipal activity, where he was involved in social responsibility for the environment and for citizens.

He provides expert consultations on environmental issues and he works in the Assembly Chamber of Commerce, the Governing Board of the Chamber of municipal services and the Governing Board of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Association of Supervisors, and an author of many articles regarding social activity. As an external lecturer conducting lectures at various universities in the field of local government, public utilities, social responsibility and networking. Mr. Burnac also active in the fields of sports and economic history. Maribor water supply was under his leadership is recognized as the most socially responsible company in the country and family-friendly company. His work is dedicated to the spread of business and expertise of all stakeholders in the social environment.
